The short version

Your data stays in your browser. CommanderDeckWright has no accounts, no server-side database, and no way to see what you type into the tools.

What is stored, and where

  • Each tool saves what you enter (decklists, owned cards, and marks such as proxy or skip) in your browser's local storage on your device. It is never sent to me.
  • You can delete it at any time with the tool's clear or start-over button, or by clearing site data in your browser settings.
  • The Export button saves a copy as a file on your device. The Import button reads a file you choose. Neither uploads anything.

Card lookups (Scryfall)

To find card types, mana values and prices, your browser sends card names (and set codes, if you pasted them) straight to the Scryfall public API. Deck names, quantities and anything about you are not sent, and the request does not pass through any server of mine. Scryfall sees that request like any website visit, including your IP address. See Scryfall's privacy policy. Answers are kept in your browser for 24 hours so the same cards are not looked up again.

Analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect personal information. It records basic data such as which page was viewed, the referring site, browser type, and country.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data (such as IP addresses) to deliver the page and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Affiliate links and tips

Some links go to stores through affiliate programs. When you click one, the store's site may set its own cookies to credit the referral. Those cookies are set on the store's site and are covered by that store's privacy policy, not this one.

Children

This site does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change too. Questions: hello@commanderdeckwright.com.
